MORNING ALL!

Somew of you may have noticed that I have gone quiet on this site. I've not abandoned it, I have been busy posting stuff to a new local site in Barlick started by one of my friends. www.oneguyfrombarlick.co.uk

Log on there and register, it's easy, free and clean because the site has no adverts and is devoted entirely to people swapping information. All the old articles are on there and in a few days will have the original pictures with them. Also included is the Lancashire textile Project, a piece of work that's taken thirty years to bring to the public. It's enormous, 1,300,000 words and over 500 pics.

I've always believed that the chief virtue of the web is that it opens up the possibility of unlimited communication and publishing to ordinary people. Oneguy is all about this. Please register and contribute. If you are interested in the local history of Barlick or the textile industry, this site is a goldmine.

Love to you all, Stanley
